 A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:

My name is Robin Hayward and I am a member of the 67 Kids to School team for 2022. I am 16 and attend the South African College High School (SACS). In my opinion, education is the most valuable gift you can gift a child. When I think of the 67 Kids to School project, one saying comes to mind: "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for his whole life.” By providing these children with the tools they need for their studies, we are helping to pave the way for their futures.

Unfortunately, we live in a time where the disparity between the wealthy and the poor in our country is extremely large. This project can go a long way to providing a long-term solution to the dramatic differences between the privileged and less privileged people of our country. By nurturing the younger generation, this project is not only aiding those who need help now, but also unearthing future leaders in business, the arts, the sciences and maybe even politics.
67 Kids To School is also an exceptional opportunity to teach us, as SACS boys, humility and understanding of other peoples circumstances. We all need to learn how to give of our time to help others.

“You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know when it'll be too late.”

― Ralph Waldo Emerson
